Pavement: Goodnight to the Rock & Roll Era
Pavement broke up in 1999,
but rumors swirl year in and year out
about a reunion. Rythmn guitarist and co-founder, Spiral Stairs started his
own band called Preston School of Industry. They've released two albums
and are working on a third. Here's a video for their

the Monsoon

Stephen
Malkmus has gone solo, in a way. He is now the front man,
and only songwriter for Stephen Malkmus + The Jicks. This four-piece just
released their fourth studio effort in March of 2008 and are heading back
into the studio in June 09 to attempt their fifth. Here is a video
of the latest
single from SM's newest album. The album
is titled Real Emotional Trash
and the song is Gardenia.
